Doctoral Student Internship

CALMAT seeks two doctoral student interns for an accreditation project. The intern(s) will be working closely with CALMAT faculty and staff to review the accreditation requirements of the Accreditation Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS), the largest national accrediting organization for degree-granting institutions, and produce a comprehensive self-study document in accordance with those requirements. This project must be completed by March 2014, when CALMAT plans to submit its initial application for accreditation of its MBA program.
Interns must be able to commit 4-10 hours per week. This internship is unpaid, but may lead to a paid position. Candidates should have a strong interest in higher-education, technology and innovation, and have strong writing, online collaboration and organizational skills. Work and communication will be conducted online, except a mandatory meeting at CALMAT's downtown San Jose campus on the 2nd Saturday of each month.


Adjunct Professors and Lecturers

CALMAT continuously searches for part-time or full-time professors and lecturers who can teach general technology and management courses. We are interested in successful professionals with experience using the latest technologies and management practices.

We offer both traditional classroom classes and interactive e-learning courses. Online teaching experience is desirable but not required. CALMAT offers efficient and effective online teacher training and mentoring that can get you up to speed in just a couple of weeks.
